Altered Pocket Calendar
On Wednesday Judy and I had a crafting day - our first since arriving in Myrtle Beach. We did a little bit of work in My Digital Studio and then moved on to paper crafting. I had picked up a couple of pocket calendars at the dollar store back home and brought along everything we would need to alter them.
We covered the calendar with Rose Red card stock. We took a piece of Olive Green card stock and added a piece of Sweet Pea DSP (retired) along with a piece of Whisper White that had been scalloped along the bottom edge. Once that was assembled we wrapped a piece of Olive Green satin ribbon around the panel and adhered it to the front of the calendar. After that we added our Stitched Felt (retired) pieces and the little embellishment at the top.
Once completed we carefully inserted it back into the plastic cover and we were ready to go.
