Shadow Box Frame with Hometown Greetings

Over the last month or so I have seen many examples of light up shadow box frames using the Hometown Greetings dies and mini lights to create a scene.  I did a couple using an IKEA frame with a 5" x 7" opening.  I made a few of them for gifts and realized that I hadn't kept one for myself.  I didn't want to go back to IKEA so I headed to Michael's.  Their frames were on sale for 50% off.  I didn't see any 5" x 7" frames but they did have a 3 pack of 8" x 8" shadow boxes on sale for $19.99.  I bought a pack and headed home to get started.

I have made two - one for a gift and one for myself.  Although I really like the smaller frame I am so happy that I took a chance on the larger size.
