I am participating in another of Heather Summers' online classs dedicated to My Digital Studio. You should check it out HERE. Heather is sharing all kinds of tips and tricks, there are videos, participants post their projects.
This is my page for Day 5 of the class. It was a lot of work - kind of reminded me of the days when I was doing some counted cross stitch.

Two More Cards
Both of these cards use papers from the retired My Sweet Pea paper stack. I need to get those used up but they seem to last forever!
Both cards were inspired by ones I had seen on a website only accessible to Stampin' Up! demonstrators so I can't link to you to them. There's not very much stamping but I am really pleased with the way they turned out. I even used some of my carefully hoarded ribbon, buttons and brads!

I Stamped!
Lately I haven't been stamping much but I have done a few birthday cards. The card I am posting today uses the stamp sets The Open Sea, French Foliage and Word Play. I saw the card on Teneale Williams' blog recently and thought it would make a perfect card for my nephew who is embarking on a new career path. You can see the original by clicking HERE.
Thanks for stopping by.
Recipe:
Card Stock - Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Not Quite Navy
Ink - Crumb Cake, Not Quite Navy, Early Espresso
Markers - Not Quite Navy, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler
Other - Sponge Daubers, Stampin' Dimensionals.

I'm Back
It's been a long time since I posted anything of my own. I hope you have enjoyed the videos I have shared over the past couple of months.
I'm not doing much stamping but I have been participating in Heather Summers' My Digital Studio Made Simple online class and I will be sharing some of the pages I have made on this blog. That class has ended but it is not too late to sign up - the classroom site will be open until the end of August so there is still access to all the videos, layouts, tips and tricks that Heather shared.
A new class starts tomorrow - check Heather's blog for details about both classes HERE.
So on to my share for today. This was the layout from Day 1 of the class. The tip shared this day was how to colour in the paper daisies embellishment using drop shadows.

Video from Tami White - Hello Doily
Although I won't be posting any projects for the next couple of months I have decided to post some videos for different stamping and paper crafting projects. Most of them will be videos posted by Tami White on her blog. This first one uses the stamp set Hello Doily.

Taking a Break
I am taking a break from posting for the next few months. There may be an occasional one but that will be all.
Hopefully I can get back to my blog in the spring.
Thanks for visiting.

Another Hybrid Card
This card is CASE'd from one I saw on Stampin' Connection - an online showcase for Stampin' Up! demonstrators only. The originator used the actual stamp sets and although I do own all of them, I created the focal panel using My Digital Studio. I cut that to 3 1/2" x 5" and layered it onto a layer of Soft Suede measuring 3 3/4" x 5 1/4". The base case card is Very Vanilla.
I added a few highlights with glitter glue and the card was done.
This was one of the cards I made with my sisters and her two daughters when we had a craft day a few weeks ago.
It sure looks like my layering is not straight but in real life it is much better than it looks in this photo.
Supplies
Digital Downloads - Lovely as a Tree; Welcome Christmas; Heard from the Heart (all of the downloads used are available as stamp sets as well)
Colours - Very Vanilla; Soft Suede; Cherry Cobbler; Basic Black
Card Stock - Very Vanilla; Soft Suede
Other - Dazzling Details

Glittery Ornament Card
A couple of weeks ago I posted a really quick and easy card with a bit of a Wow factor. Pretty much all I had done was to punch out a snowflake (save the punched piece for another project) and mount a piece of red glimmer paper behind it. You can see it HERE
This card is very similar but uses the ornament punch. Although it takes a little more time than the snowflake card, it is still fairly quick and easy.
Supplies
Stamp Set - Christmas Greetings
Ink - Real Red
Card Stock - Whisper White; Real Red; Red Glimmer; Silver Glimmer
Punch - Ornament; Dotted Ribbon
Other - 1/8" Real Red Taffeta Ribbon; "Shimmer Mist"
