HAPPY HALLOWEEN

I have some Halloween themed projects to share that I made for recent Inky Divas Challenges.

This weeks challenge (week of October 30) was to create a card with some kind of shadow/silhouette effect using current Stampin' Up! products.  I had seen THIS card on Pinterest and really liked it so I decided to CASE it.

Stampin' Supplies
Stamps - Spooky Cat
Ink - Memento Black, Crushed Curry
Card Stock - Elegant Eggplant, Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Very Vanilla, Spooky Night DSP
Other - Cat Punch, Card Front Builder Thinlits, Layering Circles Framelits, Stampin' Dimensionals, Black Rhinestones.

For the week of October 23 we were asked to create a Halloween treat holder.  I ended up making three.

Stampin' Supplies
Stamps - Spooky Cat
Ink - Basic Black
Card Stock - Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Spooky Night DSP
Other - Cat Punch, Paper Pumpkin September 2017, Petite Cafe Bags (retired), Mini Treat Boxes (retired), Layering Ovals Framelits, Thick Jute Twine (2017 Holiday Catalogue), Classic Label punch

The challenge for the week of October 16 was to use these three colours - Fresh Fig, Tangerine Tango and Crushed Curry.  I had seen a card by Kimberly Van Diepen that I had wanted to make but my Cat Punch was on back order so I made a bit of a change.  You can see Kimberly's card HERE.

Rather than stamping the cat image multiple times onto Fresh Fig card stock, punching them out and then applying them to the card front I stamped the image with Versamark ink onto the card front and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder.

The challenge for the week of October 9 was to create a treat box or holdere for a warm beverage - I decided to make one of the many KCup holders I have seen on Pinterest.  I forgot to pin it and now can't find the post so I can't share the link.

It went together pretty quickly - I did make a small adjustment to the originator's measurements.  I made it a little wider.

Another Eclipse Card

I couldn't resist making another Eclipse card.  For this one I used the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set.  Although I have several stamp sets that include the word celebrate none of them was a size that I wanted for this card so I used a digital program for that and printed it out onto Whisper White card stock.

Ink - Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Rose Red
Card Stock - Basic Black, Rose Red, Whisper White

Inky Divas Challenge - Week of October 2

The challenge this week was to create a Fall themed Thank you or Thanks Giving card. The card had to feature at least one Stamp Set and either one Punch or Framelit from the Holiday Catalogue that is Fall inspired.  I decided to use the Painted Harvest stamp set along with the coordinating leaf punch as well as the Everyday Labels punch - all from the Holiday Catalogue.

There are so many samples online using the Painted Harvest stamp set using various colour combinations that I finally ordered it.  I had placed my order on October 1 (Sunday) and expedited it knowing it would be processed on the Monday and be delivered on the Wednesday.  When I saw the challenge posted on Monday I was happy I had ordered the set and opted for the quick delivery option.

I had seen THIS card by Kelly Acheson on Pinterest and was intrigued with the use of a clear acetate sheet as the card base.  I knew I had a package of Stampin' Up! window sheets somewhere in my stash so I pulled that out and got started.

I used Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze inks for the sunflower - the centre is Early Espresso.
