I was introduced to a product called Grunge Board (a Tim Holtz product) and had to try it out right away. It is about the same thickness as chipboard but is more flexible. Almost like a combination of fun foam and chipboard. I saw a sample card at The Scrapbox and asked Tammy if I could copy it.

You can see it here http://www.thescrapbox.ca/classes/details.asp?class_id=16.

Here is my version:

I used:

CS - Pacific Point - 4.25 X 11; scored at 5.5
Ink - Wild Wasabi, Staz On (White), Ballet Blue
Ribbon - Wild Wasabi Double Stitched
Tim Holtz Grunge Board - Basic Stripes
Stickles (Gold), Dimensionals
Cuttlebug - Swiss Dots, Textile Hearts
ScorPal
Emboss lower quarter of card front with Swiss Dots folder. Score 2 lines above that (about 1/2 inch apart). Tie ribbon between 2 scored lines.
Using cutting die from Textile Hearts set, cut 2 hearts from the Grunge Board. Emboss one of the hearts with the floral patterned folder in the set. Sponge white ink over this heart and allow to dry. Sponge the other heart with Wild Wasabi until it is well covered. Outline edge with gold stickles. When the white heart is dry, colour in the flowers with blue and the foliage with wild wasabi. Blot a little bit to ensure ink does not smear.

The green heart is adhered using SNAIL. The white heart is adhered using dimensionals on the right hand side.
Thanks for looking.
Marjorie
