Fifth Avenue Floral

I have finally finished this card.  It has been in progress for a couple of months now.  I had the image panel finished but just could not decide how I was going to incorporate it into a card.  Finally I came up with something that I am happy with.

The image panel is from one of the projects in Heather Summers' Simply Stamping online class.  The rose from Fifth Avenue Floral was stamped three times onto watercolour paper.  Each image was coloured in (I still have a lot of practice to do) and then cut out.  The pieces were layered using dimensionals to give some height.   The finished rose was adhered onto a layer of very vanilla, then pale plum, perfect plum and elegant eggplant.  The very vanilla satin ribbon was made into a bow secured with a button and linen thread.

For the card, I inked up the Very Vintage jumbo wheel with pale plum and wheeled it onto pale plum cardstock and then mounted the image panel with dimensionals.  The greeting was stamped onto very vanilla and layered onto pale plum, perfect plum and elegant eggplant.
